I've only encountered the one - it did do some psychic damage, but it blew up like anything else. Still, it's good to be prepared for whatever we might find out here.
It was called Plinth. It was found in a dying star and created by an ancient civilization to kill all life in the galaxy. A group girl guides found it and made it their champion to fight for them at the Mas Vegas battle of the brands.
[ Well, they aren't exactly approving of using a mass destruction force in a corporate battle, but they also cannot deny that they are interested in the opportunity if it ever cropped up. It is worth a power fantasy.
Scary, though. ]
To kill all life in the galaxy? Even their own civilization...?
[you don't think the Triangle Mint Plinth sponsored by Triangle Mint Cookies was a good use of the plinth?]
Apparently so. Some sort of prophesy fulfilled? I'm not sure, I just saw into its mind for like a second while it was trying to destroy me psychically.
Well, it wasn't exactly easy - getting close to that thing was impossible. But we managed to attach some powerful explosives to a drone and get it near enough to go off and took it out.

And it blew up like anything else. That's the end of this story?

If we requested explosives for defense, Nut & Bolt would likely reject the proposal.
