I'm sure you have your own way of doing things around here, but as a general practice, I try to make it a habit to have a designated time to sit down with the people I work with and discuss goals and concerns. It's a little unusual, seeing as we haven't begun working yet, but I find it will foster a healthy working relationship.

The winter tour was in a neighboring galaxy to this one, where we got to do deliveries with our old crew. Even took some endangered fauna to be rehomed for conservation, that one was fun.
We were pretty remote this past month during our time as skeleton crew with the system upgrade being uploaded and construction in a lot of parts of the ship, though. No deliveries.
All things considered, a little paranoia is warranted. I'd be worried if you weren't. [ they do nod, though. ] Yes, I saw my superior off, and we threw a party for Metis'. Some others I saw off personally, but I wasn't close to everyone, so I didn't attend every sendoff.
So when they're sent off, do they disembark and embark onto another ship? Do you leave them planetside or at a space station? Or is there some sort of teleportation capability on board?
We have no teleportation capabilities on board the Eudora. She's not retrofitted for that - a little too old, and clearly we're having enough problems with upgrading her systems to a newer one. [ smashcut to friday ] It was a mix of leaving them planetside or at a station, but there were a few instances of meeting up with another ship to make a transfer that way.
