Having managed a ship before, I've found close combat comes up a lot more often than you'd think. But there are probably fewer who'd brazenly attack a ship from a big corporation.
Considering how many ships the company has in its fleet, attacking one would be a foolish decision. As far as I'm aware it's been unheard of but better to be prepared than not.
