Were it not as unpredictable as it were. Generally only one team is sent on a mission per the week so we have never needed more than the two to cycle between four people but. Yes, we have been made quite aware of the demands and needs for more.
[ A light wave of his hand. ] We already made plans to purchasing one with this visit given the kind of planet it is. It is just a matter of setting it up. And we hope to get another by the next week, if we are lucky enough to procure another.

We don't know. We have no control over the decision it has been making. It is essentially out of our hand. [ A deep frown. ] Not to mention the risks if we decide to manually take someone to cryosleep ourselves, what if the systems suddenly decide to kill the "threat" within their own pod? ...It matters little what we decide to do, we can only try to protect them ourselves and even then.. [ THEY GET YEETED OUT. ]
I'll keep my fingers crossed then. Two makes sense if it was only a small team, but on top of having us kill each other, something's decided that double the amount of people need to get traumatised too.
[ because naturally ] Seems like these planets have a whole host of things you can pick up, if you want. There's no protocol for bringing things on the ship?
Says a lot about their goal here. They could just keep people in the pods, but they don't. They have them killed. [ good point about why it wouldn't be worth it to intervene though. ] We don't even know why, but it sure seems like our death is the goal here.
