Certainly, we all have our hobbies and things we enjoyment on downtime. When I have some time available to myself, I rather like to dive into a good tome. Unfortunately, with everything that's been happening lately... we have had to dedicate more time to our workload.
[ immediately squints at the use of the word tome. ]
… [ metis is a nerd… ] Is there even a library here? What do you read in space; spaceship maintenance and quantum theory?

Mm. Yeah, it’s been a complicated few weeks. I’m guessing in the middle of all this there’s not been any contact from your bosses about the contract thing?
We do have a library of sorts on the Eudora, it's one I frequently visit the most of all the locations we have on board. It'll be a bit of time until we see it though I believe.
[ A hum. ] We should be receiving word from them at the start of next week at the very least.
Some locations we can get to, but not all at the moment. We have all rooms necessary for work so it isn't too much trouble for us.
[ A nod. ] When we touched down to dock on the planet, we were able to get word to them and they offered to send us proper communication by the next week.
I have what I need at the very least, any more would be simply indulging.
[ A nod. ] If they can allow us more permissions with our role, that would be all we need. However, if all is fine then we may take a path that would allow us the earliest time needed to settle this all.
How many permissions do you actually have? More than us, I know. But not enough to veer off course or break the contracts without higher up permission.
Enough to run the ship, but not nearly enough to take complete control of its routes, no. That is decided remotely by the upper management and no overriding on our side can push the Eudora off course.
