But yeah. You can kinda see why I'm a little freaked out by what's been happening here. At least back home we were able to stop the plan to spread those nanites to the entire country.

People are literally being driven to murder other people potentially because of these nanites and you guys care about a stupid patent?

I couldn't care less if you all ended up in categorized prisons with other criminals of the galaxy for the rest of your lives, granted it's likelier you'll die faster there than here.

You have to understand and foresee roadblocks and consequences. If, in the case, you cannot decrypt the programming, what more can you do with these nanites? Does your search end there?

...I was worried about that being the case, especially after speaking to some of you lately. I don't know what to do about that yet. [ though maybe it's not up to him to fix. ]

Io...seems to handle most of the medical stuff on this ship, right? Have you guys talked much about this amongst yourselves? The memory discrepancies and what might be causing shifts in your own behavior.

... Is that something you think you need to shoulder?

[ There's confusion, some surprise. At least it seems for Callisto, they don't hold junior crew to that responsibility. ]

We have meetings. [ They sound tired about that. ] The memory discrepancy, we do not know. At most we know the cause which isn't much progress. Shifts in behavior included... I didn't bring up Io because of this.

Not necessarily, but I think if I have the means to do something then I should. [ he's not entirely altruistic, but he can at least recognize that it's fucked up that the senior crew may have gotten themselves into something they were unaware of. ]

Not a meetings kind of person? [ hah. ] ...knowing the cause is still some progress in order to decide where to go next. If that's not why, then...what do you mean by proposals?

Understandable. [ meetings are boring, and also...yeah. understandable to the nanites as well. ]

I don't want this to go badly for anyone either. But I'm trying to study the patterns and see if we can really determine what, exactly, needs to be reviewed before we try to access them. We already know there're some things that happen to you guys that don't happen to us.

People are at their worst during meetings.

...I don't know if it's coincidence or not, but it's not just the headaches but the damage or tension in some of the limbs.

I have noticed the prosthetics have been acting up recently, but thought it was because they are older models. [ Thinking. ] Interesting.

Like I said I don't know if it's coincidental or not. It's just an observation I've made and will have to keep watching for the more this goes on. I know some of you had work done before joining the Eudora, but there's a lot that was done after, too. So it's about monitoring those changes.

A number of us got augments joining. It isn't uncommon for crew members to get enhancements from their benefits.

I get cold very easily.
