It isn't an uncommon belief, but only in some worlds does it stay true, it seems. I can always return and the days will pass again, but it had been a very long time.

The problem I found myself in was that I could not leave the manor. My only option was to wait. Nut & Bolt recruited me. Strange that they were able to reach me, but I'm familiar with the strange. Has this satisfied your curiosity?

it's a place called earth. mizuki and i are from a city called tokyo, in a country called japan. where we're from is a really big and busy place. we have all kinds of technology and entertainment and stuff like that, but not quite as advanced as some of the stuff on this ship. right now things are just...idk, normal? people go about their lives like nothing's really happening and live out their days however they want

i'm actually still in high school, but...i kind of dropped out for a little while. i'll probably go back to graduate and try to go to college so i can keep studying robotics and try to find a job that way but that's going to depend on a couple of other things.

the robotics thing started like six or seven years ago just because i wanted to and i liked them. everything i've made has been on my own time

A bustling city... I've heard of such before, though not in the same country. It sounds like an interesting place, even if it is everyday to the people living there. I see, I see. i think it's one of those things where if you don't live there it's new and exciting and if you do it's just how things are

mizuki said the stipend from this job is enough money that i wouldn't have to worry, but you can kind of see why it's hard to believe
but without i can't really continue and i can't take care of me and amame
so all of that kind of stuff might have to wait while i come up with something else

While I would love to serve anyone at my original employment, it isn't exciting like a city, of course. Difficult to compare. I see. I do think that if in the end you all are reimbursed for improper employment, then it should cover you needs. I'd offer my stipend as I have little use for it, but I imagine you won't take it. That, of course, won't matter until the end.
