Yeah. The...underbelly where the deceased are has a wall of flesh, too. So it's all connected. Anise used an item, I think, and that's why she's able to see the pink mist now. And those items enhance alertness, so it's not like she's hallucinating. It's more like she's seeing what's there.

But yeah. That's what I think. I don't know why though. [ ... ] Why would this ship hide its true nature? Or, I guess, who is doing it?
