The belly is cleaner than you'd expect it to be? The setting is grotesque horror-ish and yet when you look at it it's rather clean. The amount of scrap found around the Grinder has exponentially lessened. Starting W3 Wednesday, there is a map in the canteen's family computer. It is updated weekly.
WEEK 0
SATURDAY You guys are such busy bees, already trying to make your new home tidier! Someone has set about decalcifying shower heads, cleaning rust, dusting, picking up the wrappers and cups by the wall, tidying and sorting the garbage by the grinder... it doesn't make a big dent in the mess, but it really does at least make it a little less terrible.
WEEK 1
MONDAY The garbage heaps are periodically discarded and any expired food has been collected for disposal or has been disposed. Crates with usable food alongside usable appliances and scrap from the Grinder can be found collected in one area for organization. Anything unusable has been disposed. MONDAY The laundry rooms are REPAIRED.
WEEK 2
MONDAY In the canteen, there is a computer that operates on the operating system X/1999. It has felix the cat, solitaire, calculator and notepad functions, along with a copy of their IC graveyard doc. The background image is set to a slightly blurry photo of everyone (sans Dahut who was taking the picture) sitting around in the canteen. MONDAY In Sweeney Hut (pie side), there's a working albeit a bit junky oven here now! it takes a long time to heat up and sometimes you have to whack it but it does the job. TUESDAY In the Sweeney Hut (surgical side), there's a working rudimentary heart lung machine here now.
TUESDAY The canteen's TV quality has significantly increased and now there is audio. Captions are still on. TUESDAY Next to the computer in the canteen is an old-fashioned digital camera for communal use! It can store up to 20 photos at a time.
WEEK 3
WEDNESDAY In the canteen, there is now a working double-door fridge. It doesn't keep things cold, but it does enough. WEDNESDAY There's now a map of all locations on the family computer! This will be updated weekly. WEDNESDAY Security cameras have been set up throughout every room. Some get fleshed into the walls with zero feedback, but others work, though they need the flesh cleared off occasionally. WEDNESDAY There's a security monitoring system on the family computer. THURSDAY There is a large and simplified USB keyboard available to use at the canteen family computer... THURSDAY The canteen family computer has a beta TTS feature installed now.
