[ hello. welcome to ballroom. we really appreciate you coming!! the doors are locked and the whole gang's here. "including baiken?" yeah! senior crew as well.

the current set-up of this ballroom seems to have been split off into three separate spaces.

the first space is the party space! it…weirdly looks like what you'd almost expect from a high school prom? it's fancy decor, beautiful decorations, and all of the food and drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) you could ever want. somehow there's a purikura booth set up as well for some cute photo ops, and there are plenty of tables, chairs, and floor space for anyone who wants to dance or play party games with your friends. we have an hour, go nuts.

the second space is a little less intensive, decorated with beanbag chairs and couches. a large projection screen is on the wall to stream movies, and there are a few library books for your perusal, along with some board games. this is the zone for those looking for something a little more chill.

finally, there is a cute little glamping set-up (not entirely photo accurate) with mattresses, blankets, and pillows. you may have to share a bed with a friend, but it's better than the floor, right? stake your claim and get cozy. we're in for a long night. ]

We got together a few times, but not for as bad of circumstances, I guess. Most of the time, I thought you lot had it worse over here. You know, except for the flesh and all.

And lucky us, it turns out there's flesh on both sides. Wonderful surprise, huh? [ heh. ] That does kind of give me an idea of what, exactly, the vibes are on that side.

Yes, I wasn't really thrilled about the flesh on this side, but I guess that's... expected. Of course it would be. Of course.

The vibes are... [Thoughtful.] A few rational sort having to deal with a handful of, um--what do they say? Nerds. A handful of crazy nerds.

And rats.

Of course it would be. [ a brief cough, a few russet petals disappearing into his hand. ]

Seriously what's with the rats? Eunhyuk told me a little about them and I've had so many unanswered questions since then. [ does not comment on the crazy nerds because yeah! you guys really abandoned him on this side! his people!!! ]

Mysterious denizens of the Belly. They had started growing their own little municipality, I think. Very weird, but surprisingly nice. I believe one of them had a thing for Scien.

[ he's also still slowly going horizontal again while viktor's here because he's relaxing, but details. ]

Rat empire...guess they were there first and you guys just arrived in their city. [ also. weird? doubly weird is that and it gets a laugh out of him that's half amusement and half disbelief. ] I'm sure he was thrilled. But I guess he has a few redeeming qualities.

[ this is a joke despite the fact he does, actually, respect scien. ]

She was a very nice rat, she just had, um, a bit of poor taste.

Well, she is a rat. I've never really met any before but I feel like that might just be how things are for them.
