W6 ๐ค BALLROOM (ANTI)BLITZ

[ hello. welcome to ballroom. we really appreciate you coming!! the doors are locked and the whole gang's here. "including baiken?" yeah! senior crew as well.
the current set-up of this ballroom seems to have been split off into three separate spaces.
the first space is the party space! itโฆweirdly looks like what you'd almost expect from a high school prom? it's fancy decor, beautiful decorations, and all of the food and drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) you could ever want. somehow there's a purikura booth set up as well for some cute photo ops, and there are plenty of tables, chairs, and floor space for anyone who wants to dance or play party games with your friends. we have an hour, go nuts.
the second space is a little less intensive, decorated with beanbag chairs and couches. a large projection screen is on the wall to stream movies, and there are a few library books for your perusal, along with some board games. this is the zone for those looking for something a little more chill.
finally, there is a cute little glamping set-up (not entirely photo accurate) with mattresses, blankets, and pillows. you may have to share a bed with a friend, but it's better than the floor, right? stake your claim and get cozy. we're in for a long night. ]

It's still a little uncomfortable to be moving around too much, but it's a lot better than when we first got back. And this is gonna take some getting used to. [ gestures to his eye. ] But it's manageable.
no subject
It really didn't. If anything now I've got a leg up, huh?
[ haha. ]
The eye will take time to get used to, but... practice helps. For now, we'll all be here to help you, yeah?

Bad joke, dude. [ but he does grin anyway. ] But so it seems.
[ blinking the false eye a little... ] It's...really different when I can feel every single time it moves. But practice helps. All of us are going to have to get used to a lot of new adjustments, but at least everyone's willing to help. Better than the alternative.

[ leaning back to listen to him, just folding hands over his new knee and drawing it close in a slight stretch. ]
It is... we've prosthetics back home, but... they're nothing so advanced. It moves like the body, but feels foreign still. My Lines don't match up... but it works, so I'll take it.
[ a little smile. ] With time, I hope it will be enough, despite what's been taken.

We have them back home, too. False eyes included. [ which. well. mizuki's right there. ] Most normal prosthetics are meant to be replacements rather than completely seamless, though the technology's getting way better. Even these have set-backs. [ blinking again to adjust the eye... ]
...think this is it permanently?

[ a huff. maybe once he has the time to look we can think about this. right now though - gazes. ]
As shitty as the leg I came here with was, I'd learned to work around it already. Though I suppose... this one feels less invasive than the last.

[ he is thinking of a few people who could benefit from this. ]
...but I get that's a later project. Even if the leg you had before was shitty, it was...you know. Yours. It's just a part of you. [ there's a soft frown. ] I wasn't exactly a fan of most of the wetware you guys had, so. This is a mass improvement.
no subject
[ yeah. some people really could use that kind of technology upgrade... it's been something on his mind for a while. ]
It is. We're still missing parts and pieces, but we're a hell of a lot more whole than we were when we first met. Having a name again... it feels good.

Those parts and pieces are things we can still figure out later. The important things are your identities. Can't exactly rebuild those quite so easily. [ and speaking of... ] Would you prefer to be called Artemy then? [ he saw the profile. ]
