[WHY IS IT TWISTER VIKTOR CAN BARELY FUNCTION???? thank god metis apparently also cannot function
Sorry that he comes in with his nerd eyes going in every single direction.] Just Viktor is fine... [DISTRACTED!! And maybe a bit shy? It's fine.
The very quick dismissal of the jock side of the room. Sorry, not for him.]
Games?

Games?
[He wanders over to 🧍♂️ with Metis by the Tw*ster game. There's no way in hell either of them are going to be playing this thing.]
I see.
[The Itch appears now. He abandons poor Metis to go to the side with the physical games. He exchanges the crutch to the left arm so he can use his right one to pick through some of the things curiously.]
Do you play regular games?
[Pulling out a Rub*k's Cube. Oh, bad. Too familiar. Quickly putting it back. (kombuncha girl face) Hold on... actually. Pulling it back out again to look at it!]
I see.

[SAY IT ANOTHER WAY help not his choclety milk
Why is this man so shy when he will look like that in the future? Ig shyness is not mutually exclusive from being a mask wearer. He comes in with the same initial timidity Metis also got.
But curious! He can't keep the nerdy eyeballs from looking around.]
Hello... Several people have made it their life's mission for me to speak with you apparently.

[He stands still at one of the pods for a moment, looking it over with a clinical sort of intrigue. He rests his hand on the top, as if this will somehow tell him more, and then he finally glances up.]
Um, I'm afraid I'm not... ah, spectacular company. I came to inquire about the nanites. We don't have such things where I'm from, so I'm curious. I wanted to see the med bay Eunhyuk mentioned as well.
[He's looking at their metal leg with the same clinical intrigue before realizing he's staring, so he glances away.]
...I guess the others wanted me to figure out my health, but that's less important to me right now.

[Take away their auto translate and let them suffer. Trials would be hysterical. He leans a bit on the crutch, expression ever-so-slightly exasperated.]
The nanites are keeping my stable, I think. So my, ah... illness is not progressing. It's not quite as pressing as it had been. Not many here know about that, though. I think... it was more they thought I could ask you to fix my...
[He gestures at the crutch and sort of his leg with his other hand.]
It is not quite so simple, however. It's... a long story.

[Just realized Viktor could have maybe cheated at Tw*ster with the crutch. It's fine.]
I understand.
[He's glancing it over. The shape of it gives him the ick (naturally), but the idea of it is intriguing. He glances up at the mention of books.]
I prefer books as well.
[Of course you do, sweetie. We can look at you and tell.]

[yes
Still holding the stupid colorful block, his attention turns to the B*p It! Metis picks up. Both brows raise.
.........Puts the cube down.]
I'm usually reading books about Hextech and engineering, but old tomes are interesting. Someone told me we may get a library, is that true?
[Motions for Metis to try the weirdly shaped device.]

[
He shifts his weight with the crutch, and the way he glances around at the med bay is like he's deciding.]
It's... a lot of my body. It's my spine and my leg. It's... the polluted waters of where I grew up deteriorating my organs. There is just... too much to fix to worry about right now when there are bigger current concerns.
If my condition is stabilized by the nanites, that's enough for me. It buys me a little more time.

[DON'T LOOK HE'S ALREADY SO EMBARRASSED
He turns to sort of start hobbling for a seat, thinking he'll reject the offer... but... for some reason there is an empty gnawing in stomach he usually doesn't even register most of the time. Okay, well.]
Tea is fine, thank you.
[Sitting also good, thanks. He props the crutch against his front and shoulder.]
Did you typically deal with a place with polluted water?

...Yes. I continue to be disappointed it is the same everywhere.
[Haha, industry. Looks at the sky.
He is already drinking a big swallow of the tea by the time they offer, and he freezes with the cup at his mouth. If anyone thinks this man doesn't drink the strongest, blackest tea or coffee, they are insane. He's a nerd.
He shakes his head politely and dismissively as he swallows.]
No, thank you. I'm fine. I prefer mine... plain.

[He stares into the tea cup, thinking about how some of the water of the Undercity is the same color.]
I'm just looking for a way to keep living.
[His lips thin, but he doesn't look up.]
I would like to learn more about the nanites. If I could create something like them back home with the Hextech... [A sigh.] The only option I have right now is... replacing my failing parts with machinery.
[Oh. He glances up.]
Is there a way... for the IRIS to use my voice to talk to others? It's difficult to... walk and use it at the same time.

Yes, something like that is fine. It will just be easier that way. Thank you.
[The first part doesn't seem to depress him any more than he's already been depressed at least. Yay! It's something he has come to accept... reaching roadblock after roadblock.]
Someone said there may be a library later? Would there be any books about how nanites function in general there?
[He's assuming maybe not with how apparently tight the company is, but it never hurts to ask.]
